All men are invited to our next breakfast meeting on Sunday, March 5, at 7:15 a.m. Our featured speaker will be Mr. Josh Hudson from the NC Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC). The Commission was founded in 1947 to conserve and sustain the state’s fish and wildlife resources through research, scientific management, wise use, and public input. The NCWRC is the state agency responsible for overseeing and enforcing North Carolina’s fishing, hunting, trapping, and boating laws. Josh is our local Wildlife Officer for Catawba County.

Family Life Center Update
What a milestone for the church! In the middle of February, we paid off the loan on the Family Life Center! The project that ended up costing $2.2 million dollars was paid in full in just over five years. Many thanks to all who had the vision for building the Family Life Center and what it has meant to our church and community. Many thanks to all who supported the cause in so many ways! We will celebrate paying off the loan later this year as arrangements are made.
For those of you who set up automatic donations through our online giving page, please log in to your profile to discontinue your Family Life Center donations. We will be closing the Family Life Center checking account in the near future and want to make sure all automatic donations have ceased before we do so. Instead, please consider transferring your “dollar per day” pledge to the Building Improvement Fund. We have a number of projects that need funding, including replacing the concrete walkway in front of the church and repairing the steeple.
