New Wellness Clinic Schedule - Remember, the Wellness Clinic is open only the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. In inclement weather, the clinic will follow the same schedule as the Catawba County school closings. The clinic staff is always available by phone if you have a problem or question. Please feel free to call us.
Confirmation Classes Begin - Confirmation classes will be held Sunday mornings, March 9, 16, 23, and April 6, for youth who are in the 6th grade and older. Sessions will meet from 9:45 to 10:30 AM. in the old FLY Sunday School room in the children’s wing—last room on the right. If your youth misses a session, please plan another time to meet individually with Natalie. Confirmation Sunday is Sunday, April 13.
In addition, the Confirmation Retreat will be held April 25-27 at Lake Junaluska. Confirmands, please let Natalie know by March 9 if you plan to attend so she can make reservations.
Lenten Coin Folders - Be sure and pick up your Lenten Coin folder today! It is Rehobeth's custom to use these coin folders to support a special mission project during the season of Lent. This year, the Lenten Offering will go towards the expenses of sending our Rehobeth Mission Team to South Dakota this summer. You may deposit a quarter in each slot in the folder or simply place a check or bill in the folder. (Checks may be made out to “Rehobeth UMC” and in the memo line, write “Lenten Offering.”) During the Easter Sunday service, you will have the opportunity to bring your folders forward to the altar.
Announcing Wonderkids Worship - Something new and exciting is coming to our Children’s Ministry, which is for children aged 2 years through 5th grade! Wonderkids Worship will is a new curriculum of VBS-type songs, worship, crafts, and visits by characters who will tell Bible stories.
The first session will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 3:30 to 4:45 PM
Musical May session will be held on Sunday, May 18, from 3:30 to 4:45 PM

Remember Our Troops This Easter - As part of our ongoing card ministry to wounded troops in Afghanistan, Rehobeth will be collecting Easter and Get Well cards now through Sunday, April 6. Please mark "Easter" or "Get Well" on the envelope so that the hospital will be able to sort the cards appropriately.
Please note: Due to a change in regulations, you can no longer place your return address on the envelope. This is to ensure that your name and address does not inadvertently fall into enemy hands. However, you are welcome and encouraged to enclose a personal note.
Place your cards in the red, white, and blue box in the Narthex. The email from Captain Keith Manry, chaplain at Craig Joint Theater Hospital, shows how much these cards are appreciated!
Children's Outing to Hickory Dickory Dock - All children aged 2 years through 5th grade and their families are invited to Hickory Dickory Dock on Saturday, March 15, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. This event will kick off the beginning of Wonderkids. If you are interested in going, please sign the sheet in the Narthex. This event is free for all children.
Blood Drive – A blood drive will be held on Monday, March 17, from 3:00-7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This blood drive is sponsored in loving memory of Kenton Stutts. Anyone who can give blood is welcome!
Salad Luncheon - The Mae Howard Circle invites you to a salad luncheon, which will take place in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, March 23 at 12:00 noon. The menu will include a variety of delicious salads, bread, and desserts. There is no set price for this meal, but donations will be gladly accepted. All proceeds will help defray the expenses of the Rehobeth mission trip to South Dakota this summer.
Elvis Gospel Night - Elvis will be in the building Friday night, March 28, at 7:00 PM, courtesy of The South Dakota Mission team. We'll start off the evening with heavy hors d'oeuvres in the Fellowship Hall from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and then move to the sanctuary at 7:00 PM for the performance. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. A nursery will be provided at a cost of $5 per child. All proceeds will go towards our South Dakota mission trip in July. Easter Egg Hunt - Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 19, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Connor Recreation Center. Check back for more details!
Mystery Mission! - FLY's Mystery Mission is Sunday, March 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
FLY Goes to the Movies - FLY will be going to see the Christian movie “God’s Not Dead”on Friday, March 21. It’s a new Christian movie about defending our faith. If you would like to go, please sign up on the bulletin board outside of Natalie’s office. This event is open to the entire church family. It is vital that we support the Christian movies that are coming out over the next few months!
