solider Cards for Our Troops: Our servicemen and —women love receiving cards to brighten their day and remind them that folks back home are thinking about and praying for them! When you're out and about on your weekly errands, consider picking up a couple of "Get Well" cards for our wounded troops in Afghanistan or "Thinking of You" or "Thank You" cards for our active-duty troops in Kuwait. When writing out the cards, be sure to write the type of card on the envelope, such as "Get Well" or "Thinking of You." Remember, do not include a return address. Simply drop your cards in the red, white, and blue box in the narthex. Thank you for supporting the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect us.
ECCCM Sign Up to Work at ECCCM! In an effort to increase efficiency, ECCCM has changed their church volunteer system. Instead of a church taking one week a year, the churches are being assigned one day a month. Rehobeth has been assigned the second Thursday of each month. Hours of operation are 8 AM to 5 PM, but you do not need to commit to the full day. Come volunteer for the hours that are convenient for you. Volunteer opportunities include: Bagging food for distribution, stocking shelves, filling client orders at the drive-through door, sorting donations. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign the list in the narthex.

Stack of Quarters

Lenten Coin Folders: Be sure and pick up your Lenten Coin folder today. These folders are to collect a special offering during the season of Lent. You may deposit a quarter in each slot in the folder or simply place a check or bill in the folder.  (Checks may be made out to “Rehobeth UMC” and in the memo line, write “Lenten Offering.”) Our tradition here at Rehobeth is to use the funds from these folders to support a special mission project. This year the Lenten coin offering will be donated to the Family Guidance Center in Hickory, which provides a range of specialized services for individuals and families experiencing the negative effects of anxiety, depression, divorce, stress, financial problems, domestic violence, child abuse, and other problems that threaten the stability of families. To learn more, visit fgcservices.com.

Pickleball Pickleball Returns! Join us the first and fourth Monday of every month at the Connor Recreation Center for our Pickleball clinics. This is the perfect opportunity to learn the game or polish up your skills. The clinics will start at 6:30 PM.

The next clinic will be Monday, March 27. We hope to see you there!
New Member Session New-Member Information Session: A "new member" class will be held on Sunday, April 2, from 3:00 to 5"00 PM in the church parlor. Designed for those who are contemplating joining the church and those who have joined in the past couple of years, the session will explore United Methodist Doctrinal Beliefs, organization, social principles, and how we do things at Rehobeth! Refreshments will be served. If you are interested in attending, please sign the list in the narthex. Wed love to have you join us!
Girls For Change Thank you for supporting the Girls for Change event! Pictures from the weekend are available on the Girls for Change page.
