Church Council - The Rehobeth Church Council will meet on Sunday, May 19, at 7:00 PM in the church parlor.
Drama Ministry - The "Dramatically His" drama team will meet on Tuesday, May 28, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Mae Howard Circle - The Mae Howard Circle of the Rehobeth United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, May 20, at 7:00 PM in the church parlor.

Hearing Screenings - Think you or someone else in your family may have trouble hearing sounds, soft speech, the television, etc.? Receive a free hearing screening on Sunday, May 26th between 1:30 and 3:00 PM in the Pairs and Spares Sunday School classroom (room 101, next to Natalie’s office). The screening takes only a few minutes and anyone can be screened, from newborns to adults. The only requirement is that the person being screened is quiet and still. Morgan Moore will be doing these screenings. She is a regional consultant for the state with the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program.
Graduates to Be Honored - During the worship services on June 2, Rehobeth Church will be honoring our graduates from both high school and college. If you know of a church member who will be an upcoming graduate or who graduated this past December, please let Natalie or Rosie know as soon as possible. We don’t want to leave anyone out. We would also like to have a small photograph of each graduate by May 26 so that we can prepare a bulletin board for June 2. (The picture will be returned to you.) And do let us know from which school you are graduating and if you will be continuing your education.
Vacation Bible School - Save the dates! Our "Kingdom Rock" Vacation Bible School starts Sunday, June 23, and goes through Friday, June 28. We'll start each evening with a meal at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall, followed by VBS activites from 6 to 8:30 PM. Registration will be open through June 16. We need lots of volunteers to teach classes, lead crafts, supervise games, help with music, and provide meals. We also have a number of items that we need to borrow for each session. Please look at the blue "bulldog" slips on the bulletin board outside Natalie's office. If you can provide one or more of the items, please take the slip from the bulletin board, fill it out, and attach it to the item when you bring it. We need all items by May 26. If you have additional questions, please contact Natalie in the church office.
Senior Rock VBS – All adults aged 55 or older are invited to register for Rehobeth's "Senior Rock" program. Senior Rock from will be held during Vacation Bible School week (Sunday, June 23, through Thursday, June 27) from 6:00 to 7:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Join us each night at 5:30 PM for dinner if you can. Senior Rock will feature our own version of The Great American Bible Challenge Game, devotions, special guests, and activities that you won’t want to miss. If you are interested in participating, please sign the registration sheet in the Narthex.
Golf Tournament Fundraiser - The Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class of Rehobeth United Methodist church, in conjunction with Relay for Life, will sponsor a golf tournament at Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden on Monday, May 20, 2013. The tournament will begin with a barbecue meal catered by Box Car Grill at 11:30 AM, with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. All proceeds from this Captain’s Choice Tournament will go to Relay for Life and ColeStrong. Relay for Life is the major fund-raising arm of the American Cancer Society. ColeStrong is the fundraiser for Cole Frye, a 12-year-old who is battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer most often occurring in young men. Cole is over halfway through his forty-four chemotherapy treatments. Cole and his family are life-long members of Rehobeth Church.
Salad Luncheon - All are invited to a salad luncheon on Sunday, June 9, at 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall. The menu will include a variety of delicious salads and desserts. There is no set price, but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will go towards funding the missions and ministries of the Mae Howard Circle of the Rehobeth United Methodist Women.
FLY Meeting - FLY will meet on Sunday, May 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Virginia Creeper Trail - FLY will ride the Virginia Creeper Trail on Saturday, June 15! Anyone is welcome to join us on this adventure! The cost for bike rental is $30, plus money for two meals along the way. We will leave the church parking lot at 9:15 AM and return around 8:30 PM. The deadline to sign up with Natalie is June 2!
Appreciation Luncheon - All youth, children, and their parents are invited to a special luncheon on Sunday, June 23, at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Hope to see you there!
