Easter Sunday, April 1

Lily The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,
for I know that you are looking for Jesus,
who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."
(Matthew 28:5-7)

Our celebration of the risen Christ begins with a sunrise service at 7:00 AM in the
Rehobeth cemetery. Immediately following the service, join us for breakfast in the
Family Life Center.

The celebration continues during our 8:45 and 10:45 AM services. As part of our
worship experience, we will have a blooming cross. Everyone is asked to bring
fresh-cut flowers and flowering branches from their gardens and place them in the
cross frame, which will be standing in the narthex Easter morning. The cross will
then be carried into the sanctuary during the opening hymn — a beautiful reminder
of Christ's resurrection and the promise of eternal life we are given simply by
believing in him.
